This book is significant to me because I was directly involved in the public art commission process which resulted in the outdoor sculpture “A Startling Whirlwind of Opportunity” designed and created by Alice Aycock on the pedestrian walkway at The University of Tennessee Knoxville. Additionally, Robert Hobbs, the author of this book is an alumnus of The University of Tennessee School of Art.
