In my years spent at UTK moving towards tenure, working with open source platforms and communities has been a significant area of growth for me. This book dispels naive notions about online collaboration while acknowledging the sheer labor required of individuals for the maintenance of open source software. At its core, it's a book about people and the challenges we must face to work effectively together.
