Roots of Our Renewal: Ethnobotany and Cherokee Environmental Governance
History
Why I Chose This Book
I have been reading this book this fall, and Carroll's engagement of political ecology has me thinking about the seeds I study in a different way. Seeds are connected to past practices, current knowledge, and future well-being. To date I have mainly focused on the past, and I hope the next phase of my research can contribute to descendant well-being.
