Years ago, Elias Khoury's novel Gate of the Sun taught me how masterful storytelling can illuminate new and important perspectives on historical events. Children of the Ghetto: My Name is Adam is his latest novel to be translated, and it continues in that tradition. I hope that adding this to the UT library's collections will help spark interest in stories that have largely remained unknown and untold.
