Laura O’Shaughnessy
Laura O’Shaughnessy is Assistant Professor of Practice and Outreach & Engagement Coordinator, Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at the University of Tennessee. Laura returned to UT after completing her Masters in IE, then working in a variety of industries and raising a family. She has been active in employee education, team training, continuous improvement, management, manufacturing, safety, STEM education, coaching, volunteering, and improving the community. Reaching young, future engineers, and getting them excited about Industrial Engineering are some of their passions, and she is pleased to represent women, engineers, and mothers in this endeavors.
