Description
The Acquisitions and Continuing Resources Graduate Student Library Assistant (GSLA) will assist with the management of data; receive, create, and process incoming invoices; work with special projects; and complete a variety of other digital and physical tasks as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist with various projects
- Review and verify invoices uploaded in ALMA
- Modify invoice details
- Inspect and receive newly purchased physical materials in ALMA
- Distribute packages delivered via courier
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled UT graduate level student
- Reliable and consistently present for scheduled shifts
- Organized
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to departmental policies ( ex: no phone use unless on a break)
