Nancy Brennan Strange at Lawson McGhee Public Library
September 19: Nancy Brennan Strange has been called Knoxville’s Sweetheart and she is certainly a Library favorite. She is most frequently seen these days fronting an eclectic Appalachian swing band called The Tennessee Sheiks. A jazz singer at heart, she’ll be at the library on September 19 singing jazz standards with Marcus Shirley on piano. They perform as part of The Knoxville Jazz Festival concert/lecture series.
