We’re carpeting the library stacks! We at the Hodges Main Library apologize for the inconvenience. As we work our way around each floor, small areas of the book stacks will be temporarily inaccessible.
UT students, faculty, and staff can obtain books from closed areas by using our “Request” service. Use the “Request” link in the library catalog to request items. Faculty, graduate students, and staff may request campus delivery or hold for pickup. Undergraduates may request hold for pickup at any library branch.
Access to individual faculty studies may also be blocked for brief periods.
Carpeting begins on August 17 and will continue for at least two months. We are making every effort to make the process as unobtrusive and environmentally-friendly as possible. Follow our day-to-day progress on the new digital sign displays in Hodges Library. Please ask for help or information at the Hodges Library circulation desk (2nd floor entrance).
