Recycle Your Batteries & E-Waste at Pendergrass
Pendergrass Library is working with UT Recycling and Waste Reduction to increase our involvement in the Make Orange Green initiative. As part of this effort, we are introducing a battery and e-waste recycling point this semester. Our recycling point can take the following items:
- Batteries (including lithium-ion and other laptop batteries)
- Digital & electronic devices (calculators, cameras, cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, etc.)
- Electronic accessories (CDs, chargers, cords, headphones, & cellphone clips/cases)
- Printer cartridges
Feel free to bring these items in for UT Recycling to collect an distribute to the appropriate recycling vendors. We may be able to accept certain larger items (computer monitors and laptops) with enough notification. Please speak with our staff if you wish to work out a pick up for larger items.
