The University of Tennessee will host fall commencement ceremonies on Friday, December 15. UT Libraries takes the opportunity to recognize our student assistants who are graduating and to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.
Elle Moghadam: Moghadam is graduating with a Master of Science in Landscape Architecture. As a student library assistant, she worked at the counter of the Pendergrass Agricultural and Veterinary Medicine Library. After graduation, she plans to travel before settling down to a full-time job.
“I loved working with Pendergrass staff and how friendly and welcoming and dedicated they are to making this place homey for everyone and making studying less stressful for students,” Moghadam said. “It was a great environment with great people.”
Jetaeh Temple: Temple is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences. She was a student library assistant for The Studio at Hodges Library. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree and career in librarianship.
“Working at The Studio in Hodges Library was one of the most enriching experiences I’ve ever had. I learned a lot about patron services, and all the digital media resources we provided,” Temple said. “It’s such a safe and inclusive space, with some of the coolest, craziest, sweetest blend of people I’ve ever met.”
