Thank you, 2025–26 Student Library Advisory Committee
UT Libraries gratefully acknowledges the work of the 2025–26 Student Library Advisory Committee.
Members of the Student Library Advisory Committee contribute valuable input to decision-making at the University Libraries. The committee, comprised of undergraduate and graduate students from different disciplines, provides a sounding board on issues facing academic libraries. The committee helps staff better understand how the libraries can support the university’s commitment to student success.
The 2025-26 cohort revitalized an old advisory group and developed a new vision for the Student Library Advisory Committee. They helped to develop internal communications structures for the committee to better engage, share information among members, and stay connected between meetings.
This year’s committee actively contributed to library initiatives — for instance, offering ideas for in-person and online programming for a National Library Week celebration. Committee members also engaged with UT Libraries’ Dean’s Circle at the annual Hodges Society Luncheon for donors.
Thank you, Student Library Advisory Committee members, for your service to the Libraries and the university!
