Campus 24-hour Transportation Service
One of the best ways for members of the UT campus community to stay safe is to take advantage of the nighttime transportation services offered by the “T.” The services are convenient and free, and they are a great alternative to walking at night.
Late night shuttle
Along with a full range of daytime services, the “T” provides a fixed-route service that travels campus and around Fort Sanders. Hours are 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Sunday through Thursday; and 6 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
T:Link on-demand night service
A van can be sent to pick you up in the evening. T:Link operates on the main and agricultural campuses, and travels through Fort Sanders to Grand Avenue (excluding the Cumberland Avenue strip). The T:Link operates nightly from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. A UT ID is required to board. You can request a ride from any Blue Light Phone or by calling 974-4080.
While transportation services are designed with students in mind, faculty and staff working on campus after hours are encouraged to utilize the services for their safety.
