It includes bibliographies, discography, recording and publication information, as well as a compositional catalog in addition to many more resources. This is a great reference guide for research and Handel recordings.
Cook, Richard. The Penguin Guide to Jazz Recordings. New York: Penguin Books, 2006. Ref. ML156.4.J3 C67 2006 An excellent reference for any jazz musician. This source includes evaluations of over one thousand recordings, including bios of musicians, record quality, and pricing. Also includes a recommended “core collection” must-have for the jazz musician.
Arizona Opera. 2005. http://www.azopera.com/learn.php A great resource for opera newcomers and opera lovers in general. This site includes opera synopses, composer biographies, and an audio pronunciation guide to opera titles and characters.
