Miscellaneous:

Scott also published four children’s books. Her unpublished play, Love, was produced by the Provincetown Players in 1921. Her famous essay, “On William Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury” (New York: Cape & Smith, 1929), was circulated with advance copies of Faulkner’s novel. It has been reprinted in William Faulkner: The Compson Family (Boston: G.K. Hall, 1982), a collection edited by Arthur F. Kinney. She left a significant number of unpublished manuscripts at her death in 1962. Almost all of her major manuscripts are at the Humanities Research Center of the University of Texas at Austin. Letters and other lesser manuscripts are in collections throughout the country.
