UT System
UT System Reciprocal Borrowing for Print Materials:
Students, faculty, and staff at all University of Tennessee campuses may borrow library materials when visiting sister campuses using the ID card issued by the user’s home institution. With some restrictions, visiting users will enjoy the same borrowing privileges and loan periods as local users. Faculty, staff, and student loan periods and policies should be the same at all UT System institutions. Restrictions generally apply to media and equipment.
Accessing Online Databases, Journals, and Articles:
1. UT System visitors to Hodges Library using their own laptops and mobile devices may log in to one of two visitor wireless networks to access library databases and electronic content.
UT-open – This network automatically shows up as a choice under “available wireless networks.”
Eduroam – This network is available to visitors from other universities and institutions that participate in http://www.eduroam.org/. UT affiliates may also use this network at other participating institutions while traveling.
2. UT System affiliates may also request a temporary UTK NetID and 2 factor token, at the Public Services Desk on the 2nd floor of Hodges Library, for logging into Library workstations.
