Library Leadership

Serving the flagship campus of an R1, land-grant university is a big job, and we on the Libraries’ Administration team work to provide leadership and direction so that the Libraries can support the teaching, research, and service mission of the university. We encourage innovation, creativity, and strategic risk-taking in all units of our organization, and we strive to act as good stewards of our collections, resources, and spaces. Through membership and leadership in professional organizations such as the Association of Research Libraries, HathiTrust, and the Tennessee Advisory Council on Libraries, we work to ensure equitable access to information and build partnerships that advance learning, scholarship, and community. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment marked by integrity and civility.
