Joseph McGuire

Joseph McGuire is the Evening Supervisor of the Music Library. They assist patrons with reference queries and circulation services, maintain the Music Library’s technology and equipment, process new acquisitions, and maintain the Music Library’s periodicals. Their other responsibilities include supervising and training student library assistants.

Joseph holds a Master of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from the University of Memphis. They previously worked as a GSLA at Hodges Library. Joseph plays piano, sings, dances, and is especially interested in how technology, games, and theatrics are used in musical performance and education. Their hobbies include tabletop roleplaying games, cooking new recipes, and sewing.
