Maggie Albro

As the subject librarian for the departments within the Herbert College of Agriculture, UT Extension, and UT AgResearch, Assistant Professor Maggie Albro provides specialized support to library users through research consultations, information literacy instruction, outreach and engagement activities, and collection development. She co-coordinates evidence synthesis and systematic review support services provided by UT Libraries and is a member of the Health, Wellness, and Professional Programs Department leadership team. Maggie’s research focuses unexplored areas surrounding the emotional and service labor that goes into the profession of librarianship and seeks to provide context to the lived realities of academic library workers.
