Mikayla (she/her/hers) is the STEM Librarian for Engineering at UT Libraries, and she has been in this role since June 2023. She provides research assistance and library instruction to Tickle College of Engineering faculty, staff, and students. Mikayla helps patrons in all stages of the research process. Some examples of ways Mikayla assists patrons are: helping locate books and articles, providing guidance for effective searching strategies, explaining how to conduct a literature review, and helping patrons get connected with other UT Libraries resources, like Resource Sharing. She is eager to help students, faculty, and staff, so if you have any library related questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Mikayla. In her free time, Mikayla enjoys spending time with her husband and cat, reading, playing video games, sending snail mail, journaling, and watching baseball.
