Niki Cobb

Niki [Kirkpatrick] Cobb, MSIS, AHIP, is an Associate Professor and Health Sciences Librarian at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She also co-leads the Libraries’ evidence synthesis and systematic review support services.

She serves as the subject librarian for the College of Nursing and the departments of Nutrition, Public Health, Audiology & Speech Pathology, and Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport Studies. Her work includes:

• Helping students and researchers find and evaluate health literature
• Supporting evidence-based practice projects
• Assisting with multidisciplinary research on topics such as One Health, biomedical engineering, substance misuse, mental health, and wellness
• Guiding evidence synthesis projects, including systematic and scoping reviews

Her research focuses on how technology, education, and librarianship intersect, with an emphasis on improving student success and supporting library staff retention.
