Description
The UT Libraries’ Marketing and Communications department seeks an energetic, creative, and self-directed student to assist with and contribute to communication efforts that promote UT Libraries to our campus and community. This individual will be tasked with assisting in the creation of various visual designs and graphics that will be used for print and digital assets.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Creation and editing of graphics in partnership with department’s graphic designer
- Ensure all graphics and visual assets comply with established accessibility standards and UT brand guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- UT student (graduate or undergraduate)
- Enthusiasm for communicating with UT students, faculty, and staff
- A good eye for visual communications
- A portfolio demonstrating work project and/or experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to multitask
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of graphic design experience and/or coursework in graphic design, digital media, visual fine arts, or related fields
