Louis Becker has worked toward assessment and continuing improvement of the Libraries’ collections and services since 2016. His projects at UT have ranged from library user surveys to data visualization and analysis of the Libraries’ electronic resources and physical collections. Originally from Massachusetts, Louis majored in History at Davidson College and holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College (now Simmons University). Prior to coming to UT, he was a subject taxonomist at EBSCO Information Services and worked in public libraries.
