Melissa Cantrell

As the Head of Assessment Programs and Collection Strategy, Melissa supports the mission of UT Libraries by leading assessment programs for library services, spaces, and collections. Melissa holds an MA in English Literature from the University of South Carolina and an MLIS from the University of Denver. Prior to coming to UTK, Melissa was a Collections Analyst at the University of Colorado Denver and then the Scholarly Communication Librarian at the University of Colorado Boulder. Throughout her career, she has emphasized the importance of both data-driven and values-driven decision-making in advancing strategic priorities.
